"I ended up coming to Pathways. That was the biggest blessing I was able to receive in my life," Jose recalls. Lost, and wanting to make a change, Jose decided to put his trust in God and enter the program. After a couple months, he began working and going to school. He has gained the skills and confidence to become a productive member of society.
When homeless men come out of rehabilitation, most lack the skills to secure and hold a job.
Path to Prosperity in San Bernardino is an educational program where men have the opportunity to go to college, study, get a vocational certificate or degree, and enter the work force.
Path to Prosperity works with many colleges and universities, as well as a GED program.
Many of the men find that once they have entered college, their goals change; they find dreams and talents they didn't know they had.
Each semester finds Path to Prosperity student's on the Dean's List.
